Connecting to the World - Connecting with your Kids

Once upon a time I lived in the big city of New York and let the world come to us.  I would take my kids on field trips to Tibetan museums and Vietnamese restaurants.  Then one year we went off and saw the world, traveling for 13 months throughout Asia and South America. Since then we try and maintain a balance - venturing out on exciting long distance journeys but also exploring our new home in PA as a foreign tourist would.  Connecting to the world is easier than you think and traveling with your kids is the best way to connect with them.
